At least it was. For a whopping 81 hours, the Oakwood Complex sat in the dark during the Hurricane Matthew parade.
In reality, the worst of our Matthew troubles was wet socks and missing work (although I wouldn't say we were "missing" it har har har).
With little else to do but ponder the ponderable listening to the sweet pitter of roof pattered rain, we got to thinking, can we ever have too much water?
In our socks, yes. But in our bodies...yes.
Wait what? We can drink too much water??
Unintentionally, not really. The real threat of water intoxication is not so much the presence of water, but rather the nutritional imbalance that comes from the hypotonic cells post water imbibition. #SATprep
The takeaway point, nutrition is just as important as hydration. Pay attention to what is put in your body as even the purest of intentions can have the roughest of outcomes.
We hope everyone affected by Matthew did so with little to recover and lots to be thankful for.
